Ophthalmology and optical private practice.  Perform work-up examinations, primary care examinations, and co-manage full scope of patients with concentration on geriatric and difficult patients.

Newport Beach Optometric Eye Care Center, Newport Beach, California  08/00-present (part-time)
Private practice office dedicated primarily to Ortho-keratology refractive correction.  Co-manage Ortho-K patients.

Private practice primary care office.  Performed full-scope primary care optometric examinations.

Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, Miami, Florida  05/98-10/98
Examined patients in/rotated through primary care, retina, cornea/external, glaucoma, and neuro-ophthalmology clinics.  Participated in a wide variety of cases involving ocular disease and pre/post-operative care (glaucoma, retina, cataract, refractive surgery, and corneal transplants). Approximately 800 patients were examined. Presented 1 hour lecture to students, residents, and staff.  Attended bi-weekly lectures and grand rounds with Ophthalmology residents.  The top Ocular Disease hospital in the country.

OFFUTT Air Force Base, Bellevue, Nebraska  11/98-01/99
Performed full-scope optometric examinations, which included contact lens, ocular disease, binocular vision, and pediatrics. Approximately 400 patients were examined.  Presented 30-min. lecture to students and staff.

I.U. Visual Therapy/Pediatric Clinic, Bloomington, Indiana  02/99-05/99
Diagnosed and managed patients with strabismus, vergence insufficiencies, accommodative conditions, and perceptual-motor disabilities.  Performed primary care examinations on pediatric patients.

Fit, dispensed, and performed follow-up exams on contact lens patients, including specialty fits (keratoconics), with the use of bitoric and RGP lenses.
